Thanksgivings already over?

Image
Kinda sad that the best holiday in the United States is already over. But that's okay, now the second best holiday is on it's way!  We got to go down to Montrose for thanksgiving and be with all the missionaries in our zone (socially distanced, of course) so enjoy some pictures from that! We are back in semi-full quarantine, no more lessons or meals or anything in person except church and meetings. Big sad. But that's okay, we're still finding ways to keep busy, and the work is still moving forward! Highlight of the week: Sister Smith: *puts sour cream in the microwave instead of the fridge* Have a good week!

Sister Bledsoe is finally writing an email??

Sorry for not writing for like two weeks, I have this chronic condition known as inertia or more commonly known as "la pereza" in certain countries, but dont worry, I'm doing better now! Also I have pictures! The work is moving forward! Dont know if you've heard the news, but Facebook is the place to be! Missionaries, missionaries everywhere! Go support them, we really appreciate every single time you like, comment, or share a post, it's practically like giving a book of Mormon to a friend! (Not exactly, but pretty close). Not sure about you all, but I'm super excited for President Nelson's message on the 20th! Its gonna be good! Scripture of the week: If you ever don't want to exercise, read 1 Timonth 4:8 Dad joke of the week: I knew Dr. Pepper when he was an intern Have a FANTASTIC week! Enjoy my pictures. The horse, Charmer, kept untying himself while I was trying to brush him. They're smarter than you expect. Hes cute tho

Snow?? Never heard of it.

I promise things do happen, but it's not like yall read these emails anyway. I dont blame you though, missionary's weekly emails can be boring.  So here's the exciting stuff: •We got locked out of our apartment in the snow last night at 9:30. We were just trying to take out the trash... lol •I chopped off my hair! It needed to be done.  •We're teaching Brazos and now his brother Travis too! Someday I'll get a picture with them, they're my faves. •Snow is cold and I dont like it, but it's pretty. I'll give you that.  Also please keep sending inspirational quotes!! They go in my quote book where I can look at them when I need to be inspired.  Dad joke of the week: My wife and I were blissfully happy for 25 years..... and then we met. Have a good week!

Good evening fellow children of God, it's me, your favorite missionary. The weeks are FLYING now, wasn't it just monday? And now its monday again? wow.  It was a good week. We've been keeping busy doing the work of the Lord. Not much other than that, and I hope you are all planning on watching General Conference this weekend! Who wouldn't miss the chance to get to hear a living prophet speak?? I'm pumped and I hope you all are too. 1. A member gave us bread 2. My companion and I 3. "God bless the broken road that led me straight to you"

"I don't have time to grind llama poop!"

Oh boy I love it here. The amount of times I've been called a "city-slicker" by the members is unreal.  But honestly, I did not know that llama poop makes good garden fertilizer, and it's even better if you grind it up first. So theres your fun fact for the week We've been making lots of cookies and delivering them and trying to get to know everyone (which means I've been eating lots of cookies) Not too many exciting things happening, but just know that we've been working hard and spreading the light of the gospel every single day :D Be good, dont do drugs, stay away from ferocious dogs😉

I give up counting weeks-- but it's been a month in Colorado

Hello wonderful people Not too much has been going on that you'd be interested in... just lots of hard work and trying to find people to teach! Cedaredge is AWEsome, I love the people here and all the deer and there are these weeds that look like sunflowers that are just soooooo pretty.  We're not teaching anyone at the moment, but we're working on it. We've got a couple in mind that might (just might) start taking the lessons, we'll see this week.  But the members are awesome and willing to help us with our facebook videos and all that jazz so we very much appreciate that. Also, they make good food. Best meal this week-- chicken salad on croissants. (I'm easy to please) SPIRITUAL TIME- D&C 6:36 Look unto me in every thought, doubt not, fear not. God's got a plan for ALL of us, and we can trust in it. He knows what He's doing, and we don't. Trust in the Lord and let him lead the way, I promise he won't lead you astray. Have a good week! Herma...
