Oh look. January is almost over

Image
Didn't January just start? Crazy.  We had exchanges this week (which basically means we swapped companions for a day) so I actually got to go to a spanish area and speak spanish!! We taught the Restoration of the Gospel to someone who had never heard it before and he loved it! It was so special to be able to bear my testimony to him in Spanish.  Hope everyone is doing well! Send me your favorite scripture(s)!! I'm always looking for more. Picture: my companion drew me!!  Love you all!!

I guess I'm old now

Had my first (and last) mission birthday! Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday, know that I read and appreciated all of them even if I couldn't respond❤ This was a crazy week but we got a lot done! Cassy is on date for baptism ON HER BIRTHDAY and we're super excited for her. On my birthday we called a bunch of people who had been previously taught and two of them expressed interest and so we've started teaching them! That was the best birthday gift. Also one of the pews at church gave me a splinter. A gift which is still, in fact, under my skin. I also saw an albino goose! Do you think that's good luck or bad luck? Let me know.  I actually have pictures to send this week so please enjoy them. I think they're pretty self explanatory

More adventures of Sister Bledsoe

I actually didn't go on too many adventures this week. Unless you count going to Target as an adventure. But it WAS a good week. I gave a talk at church yesterday. Funniest part about that: my companion spoke first so when I got up to speak there was a solid three seconds of silence as they lowered the microphone for me. Don't let the picture fool you. she's much taller than I am.  We got snow this week! I kept talking about it and everyone else was like "...This is nothing." But whatever, dont mind this California girl gawking every time it snows. On the more spiritual side of things: it's a new year and the perfect time to think about how YOU can do better this year. Last year was pretty terrible so it's not like the bar is very high. But I challenge you to find something you want to be better at (budgeting, driving, being a decent human being...) and start working on it! Don't choose something impossible, and it doesnt have to be huge either. We are...

TRANSFERRED? TRAINING??

Yikes. They chucked me over the mountains right before new years. I'm now in Lakewood Colorado! It's a beautiful area. With a lot of lakes. And geese.  I absolutely love it here!! The ward is amazing and I'm training my companion Sister Andrus,  who is is amazing!! and we've been working hard! Definitely weird to be in the city after being out in Cedaredge for so long, but it's a nice change. I'm still a facebook admin so I get to give trainings about facebook and all that jazz but it's super fun! I hope everyone had a safe New Years and that you have all made some achievable resolutions.  Have a good week! My new address: 10312 W Florida Ave Apt 202  Lakewood, CO 80232 Enjoy the video and some pictures.
