More adventures of Sister Bledsoe
I actually didn't go on too many adventures this week. Unless you count going to Target as an adventure.
But it WAS a good week. I gave a talk at church yesterday. Funniest part about that: my companion spoke first so when I got up to speak there was a solid three seconds of silence as they lowered the microphone for me. Don't let the picture fool you. she's much taller than I am.
We got snow this week! I kept talking about it and everyone else was like "...This is nothing." But whatever, dont mind this California girl gawking every time it snows.
On the more spiritual side of things: it's a new year and the perfect time to think about how YOU can do better this year. Last year was pretty terrible so it's not like the bar is very high. But I challenge you to find something you want to be better at (budgeting, driving, being a decent human being...) and start working on it! Don't choose something impossible, and it doesnt have to be huge either.
We are happy when we are progressing. This life is all about progress. Don't stay in the same place for too long- you'll never find happiness there.
While we're on the topic of happiness, go read Mosiah 2:41 from the Book of Mormon and think about it.
I hope you all have a FANTASTIC week and go eat some ice cream!
