"Even rainbow owls need the gospel"

Greetings, my amigos
What a week it has been. When I say it was full of miracles.... I really mean it was full of miracles.

I'll tell you just one of them. On Saturday I was on exchanges with the YSA sisters (so we swapped companions for the day-- I went to Columbine, and one of the sisters came here). We had a lesson with someone they were teaching named Eli. We called someone to join our lesson(Skye) and we arrived at his apartment right on time.... but he wasn't home. All 3 of us felt very strongly that this lesson needed to happen. So we waited.
About 20 minutes later we get a text from him saying he'd been in a car accident (he was okay though) and that it would be a while before he got home.
And still, we decided to wait. For one reason or another, this lesson needed to happen.
In the meantime, we talked with Skye. Her story was INCREDIBLE. She's 28 and preparing to serve a mission. Her testimony was literally the strongest I've ever heard.
So FINALLY Eli makes it! We have our lesson on the front steps of the apartment complex. And Skye, who had never been to the MTC or received any missionary training, was a far better teacher than I could ever be. She was so personable, so relatable. Eli opened up to her, and told us things he hadn't told the sisters before.
Skye was able to invite him to church, too. He hadn't been before, but he went the next day!!
That lesson NEEDED to happen. God knew that, and Satan knew that. We may have been waiting outside a random apartment complex for over an hour while everything seemed to go wrong, but I am so grateful that we waited.

Long story short-- Miracles have not ceased. God loves each and every one of you, is aware of you, and will make sure that you are exactly where you need to be.

I was going to explain the quote in the subject line, but I think it's best out of context.

Love you all!!!
