STORY TIME
We had a lesson with James last tuesday. He's a recent convert to the gospel, and has SUCH a powerful testimony. He was out of town the weekend before, because he had flown to Maryland to get his motorcycle and ride it home. Here's what happened (and I'm paraphrasing quite a bit)
"I woke up Saturday morning with food poisoning. I don't usually eat a lot when I'm on the road, the only thing I'd had the night before was a little deli sandwich, but it did a number on me. I felt horrible. But I wanted to be home by Monday night, so I sucked it up, got back on my bike and kept going anyway.
It was bad. Like, puking off the side of my bike, bad. I felt miserable. I stopped at a motel pretty early in the afternoon to rest as much as I could. I took a nap, got up and walked around the motel, and met this guy named Paul. He was pretty cool. We talked a bit, he was there because he hadn't gotten enough sleep the night before and had a long drive to make. After a short conversation, I went backto lay down for a bit, and got back up around 7.
I went on another walk and ran into Paul again. We talked for a bit, and I mentioned something about the Lord, I can't remember exactly what I said. But Paul says, "oh, so you're a strong Christian man?" And I'm like, well, I try to be haha. And I mentioned that I was a Latter Day Saint. And Paul replies: "oh. So you don't even believe in Christ." and just left that door WIDE open.
So FIVE HOURS LATER, I've got him in contact with his missionaries, he's got his own copy of the Book of Mormon and is planning on going to church the next sunday and wants to get baptized. It was like midnight, we were both exhausted after that long and very spiritual conversation, and we crashed for the night. We exchanged phone numbers and have been in contact ever since."
I thought you all would appreciate a story like this. Miracles happen ALL THE TIME. And if you pray to be an instrument in God's hands... He'll use you. Coincidences don't happen. Miracles do.
Love you all, hope you have an amazing week! And if you have any miracles you'd like to share with me, big or small, go ahead and send them! I'd love to hear.
